There were three awards given at the conference for the best student presentations. Each award includes a certificate as well as a cash award.

The winners were:

First place: Steffen Cruz, University of British Columbia/TRIUMF, for
"Single particle structure and shapes of exotic Sr isotopes"

Second place: Chanpreet Amole, Queen's University, for
"PICO-2L: in search of light WIMPs with a bubble chamber using superheated C₃F₈"

Third place: Marc Baker, University of Alberta, for
"Hyperfine splitting in positronium to O(α⁷ Μ_Ε): one photon annihilation contribution"
